REGISTER FOR £0 AND CONTACT US FOR THIS SPECIAL COURSE: jmanley@artaffect.co.uk

This course will be designed by Mary Young and ArtAffect in co-creation with registered participants.

Mary is a chiropractor with a particular interest in the ways we perceive and tell others about our experience of life. In her clinic she uses a unique combination of chiropractic, cranial therapy, fascial work, visceral manipulation and bio-geometric integration. This day workshop explores how much (or how little) of what is happening in our body we are aware of, and how many layers of meaning we load onto that awareness. Participants can expect to end the day with an increased toolkit for observing and sharing their lived experience.

In Mary’s words:

“We need the words to tell our story, to get it across,

what we’re going through, what we’re living with

We need to wield the right words to prise the right response

from doctors, from lovers, from ourselves.

In this workshop we’ll take the time to sift through

the dark, the many-faced, the shiny bits of how we are

and come up with more than ‘fine’”.
