Day Workshop: Wishes for Water: stories, textures and flow with Kate Adams

£90.00

Friday 27th February 2026 - 10 am until 5 pm

Join us for a day-long workshop exploring our relationship with water through stories, movement, drawing and words, with interdisciplinary artist Kate Adams.

This is a welcoming space for personal and creative exploration for artists and non-artists. You don’t need any experience to participate, just a bit of curiosity.

We’ll play with the dynamics and qualities of water and open up themes relating to cycles in nature, personal connections and stories of water. Kate will bring images and starting points and you are invited to do the same if you wish. You might bring an image or a word or a memory that resonates with you.

We will begin with a warm up drawing on the practice of qi gong and move between creative exercises, discussions and writing/drawing time. Some of the games and creative explorations will involve movement, so please wear comfortable clothes.

If you register and then can't make it, please let us know in advance so we can open up the space to someone else.
