This is the first of a series of COPYCAT Art Club meetings facilitated by one of our Resident Artists in the Old Bakery. Meetings will start in the Port House, 11 Exchange Street, Jedburgh, and continue in the Old Bakery. At ArtAffect, we are delighted to welcome Rikki’s Club to our programme. It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone and anyone to practice their skills by copying from the Masters. We have thousands of art book in the Gledhill Arts Library to choose from. In addition, everybody who is a member of COPYCAT ART CLUB gets a free 6 month subscription and a Library Card.
Rikki asks for a £3 donation to attend.
About Rikki Niehaus, artist and facilitator: ‘I am an artist working mainly in portraiture and figurative traditions. I also love images of nostalgia, and early film. Originally from California, I have lived in the Borders for three years; prior to that, I studied at Art Center, and LAAFA. I’m a member of Visual Arts Scotland & Society of Scottish Artists.’
