A word from the artist:

My work is inspired by sea and sky, light and reflection in the constantly shifting atmosphere, where water meets horizon.

My influence in art began with the Impressionists and their ability to capture movement and fleeting light.  I was then drawn to Post- Impressionism, Expressionism and Surrealism.  I loved the use of bold colours and patterned movement in paintings by Van Gogh and remain astounded by the bizarre, most intriguing, beguiling and unapologetically eccentric works of Salvador Dali.

My inspiration lies in the interpretation of the subject as I see it. Conveying my own thoughts through colour, in a reflective medium and abstract style.  Through this, and in the use of graphics and technology in art and design, I work in illustration and the reworking of the traditional image.
